Emma Liu

With integrated knowledge from Urban Planning & UI/UX Design, I strive to utilize design principles and best-practice knowledge to provide a streamlined user experience with well-designed and efficient user interfaces. These will assist the public to easily access regulations and policies released by the government, thus improving the current information asymmetry.

It will also help the government to concisely summarize its development goals and objectives and to dynamically analyze feedback from the public. Ultimately, my aim is to improve the overall social welfare and to become an engineering interface between stakeholders.

My Studies

My studies in the Group of Urban Planning in the Department of Land Economics gives me the perspective of the public sector, and my studies in the Department of Digital Content and Technology (DCT) provide in-depth perspectives from the private sector.

With these combined insights and perspectives from both sides, I am able to look at challenges and issues using different viewpoints in a thorough way and figure out solutions that strike a balance between both ends.
